Homestead: Mill Town to Mall Town +
Working with writers Jane McCafferty and Jim Daniels, we contrast the shopping mall, residential and entertainment complex of the Waterfront with the town of Homestead where it resides. Homestead was home to a major steel mill in the 19th and 20th centuries, owned by Andrew Carnegie and USX, as well as other companies during different times. Now in the 21st century we have the struggling old working class mill town sitting next to a mega complex of American mall life. This work was exhibited and will be published by Marick Press.
